When you send a rental inquiry, we collect the information you provide, including your name, phone number, email address, rental dates, event type, city, guest count, and ice preference.
If you choose to receive text messages, we also record your consent choice, the date and time of consent, the page where consent was provided, the version of the disclosure you accepted, and your IP address. We use this record to document and honor your messaging preferences.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your inquiry, check availability, prepare rental details, coordinate delivery and pickup, process deposits and balances through our payment provider, provide customer support, maintain business records, prevent abuse, and improve the website.
If you voluntarily opt in to SMS, we may send transactional messages about your inquiry or rental, including booking updates, delivery and pickup information, deposit reminders, and customer support. Message frequency varies, typically up to 8 messages per inquiry or booking. Message and data rates may apply.
Mobile information and SMS consent
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may use service providers that help us operate the booking and messaging systems, but they may use the information only to provide those services to RI Party Taps.
SMS consent is optional and isn't a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. You can still submit a rental inquiry if you don't consent to text messages.
How information is shared
We may share information with service providers that support our website, booking database, email, messaging, payment processing, and business operations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer.
We don't sell your personal information.
Data retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for rental operations, consent records, accounting, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You can ask us to review, correct, or delete personal information we control, subject to records we must keep for legal or operational reasons. You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP.
Children's privacy
This service is intended for adults arranging rentals. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
